How do I use the VinnerVi browser extension?
Open any video page, click the VinnerVi icon, pick a target language, and bilingual subtitles appear right on the player — the original language on top and your language below. Works on YouTube, Bilibili, TikTok, X, Dailymotion, Niconico, and 45+ more sites. Bilingual mode is on by default; you can switch to translation-only with one click in the popup.

Loading your translated subtitles
VinnerVi loads translated subtitles onto the video player automatically as soon as they're ready. On some sites, browser or platform limits prevent that — opening the extension once is all it takes to get past them.

Some sites don't let extensions run until you click first — a browser-level limit we can't bypass. One click on the icon gives us the signal to fetch and inject the subtitles. Wait up to 30 seconds.

Bilingual subtitles — on by default
Translated subtitles arrive with two lines: the speaker's original language on top, your language below. Read along when you want to, switch to translation-only when you don't — the toggle lives at the top of the extension popup.
Two lines on every cue
Original sits above your translation, sharing the same line timing and position on the player. Useful for language learners, study sessions, and anyone comparing the AI translation to the speaker's actual words.
Toggle it any time
Open the extension popup. The Bilingual subtitles switch is right under your email, default ON. Flip it off and the cue on screen updates instantly — no page reload, no re-translation cost. Flip it back on a moment later for the next scene worth studying.
